How many birthdays does a one year old get?

In Meredith's case, three! John's parents were here this past week and they wanted to celebrate Meredith's milestone birthday, so I had another great excuse to bake a cake and have a party. The weather cooperated and we spent the hot afternoon in the backyard. Meredith got a fantastic inflatable water park (I wish we had these things when I was a kid!) and enjoyed her impromptu swim even though the water was quite cold. She thanks Grandma and Grandpa Miller and Aunty Stacey for her fun gifts.
