Picnic in the park

Although I may sit in front of a computer all day at work, I find I'm seriously slacking with the blog! I tried to convince John that posting updates was all part of being on parental leave. You can tell how successful that was.

Anyways, my friend Amy had a wonderful idea to go for a picnic at Bowness Park yesterday evening. It was a beautiful day and it seems summer has finally hit Calgary. Here are a few pics of our lovely evening.

Meredith's two upper front teeth are about to come in (I know, I've been saying that for a month, but this time they REALLY are) and she's getting closer to walking. She's very cautious and is reluctant to let go of anything (furniture, Mom or Dad) with both hands while standing. John took her to visit her future day care earlier this week and she picked up yet another cold (#5 this year) but it doesn't seem to dampen her spirits too much :)
