It's the most wonderful time of the year...

That's right, it's time for pumpkin cookies!

I'm sure many of you know about our annual tradition of baking and decorating pumpkin cookies. Here's a link to a recipe very similar to the one we use (ours uses only 1 c of brown sugar).

This year, we had a 2, 3 and 5 year old. It was fun to watch each of them at their different levels of ability. The 2 year old dumped the candy on top of his cookie and smooshed it into the icing. Charlotte carefully placed individual candies in a random fashion on her cookie. Meredith was able to both ice her cookie and make actual jack o'lantern faces with the candy.

Those cookies sure are decorated quickly with 3 kids and their helpers! Hopefully they won't be eaten quite as quickly... ;)
