We had a very enjoyable Easter in Edmonton. We hit up the major attractions (World of Science - where we got in for free because we have season passes to Telus Spark in Calgary - and Galaxyland) and spent time with my parents and Auntie Michelle (plus Frank, the cat).
During the winter my Dad feeds grain to the local rabbits, putting feed under spruce trees in the park across the street from the house. I always tell him that none of his neighbours want him feeding the rabbits (I know I sure wouldn't!) but he's a sucker for cute animals and feeds them anyways. The rabbits congregate under the spruce trees at night and he convinced the girls that one of them was the Easter Bunny. He took them over (in 2+ feet of snow) and they found some empty plastic eggs - ones that the bunnies had made but weren't finished filling yet. Sure enough, Easter morning they went back over and found the same eggs under the tree that were magically filled with chocolate. Those bunnies are sure amazing!
