On the Sunday before Valentine's Day we had our first annual family Valentine's Day fondue party. We did a fontina and asiago cheese fondue, broiled beef skewers and finished with a milk chocolate fondue. The girls weren't huge fans of the cheese but, unsurprisingly, the chocolate was a hit. And no one poked his or herself (or anyone else) in the eye with the fondue sticks. Success!

I hung some Valentine's Day inspired decorations. The girls were encouraged to wear something fancy. As you can see, Meredith followed my recommendation but Charlotte did not. Unless, of course, you consider a hoodie to be fancy.

Notice the wicked 40 year old orange fondue pot :)
