Happy 3rd Birthday Meredith

Meredith's birthday was celebrated over 3 days. On her actual birthday, I sent cupcakes with her to daycare and she had a little fiesta with her daycare friends. Grandma Carolyn arrived in town the following day, so Merrie opened up her presents from Mom and Dad and Grandma that night, followed by ice cream. Then on Saturday we held a little party for her and some of her other friends at a play place near our house. We had 8 little ones there and I think a good time was had by all!

Meredith is becoming a spunky and articulate little girl. She loves wearing dresses and skirts but isn't really keen on having her hair in ponytails. Her best friend is Goldwyn (the puppy) but her little sister Charlotte is running a close second. She's still a pretty particular eater, but is slowly starting to taste things she would normally never consider, which is an improvement in my books. She ate a single piece of mango one night over 2 weeks ago and she tells me every day that because she "eats" mango she'll grow big and strong. She loves puzzles, games and balls of all sorts and generally likes to help Mommy in the kitchen (especially if there's a spatula to be licked at the end). She's 37 inches tall and weighs 33 lbs. She's a very special girl and I love her to bits :)
