Another day in the sun

Meredith and John have been enjoying a lot of time outside these past few weeks. I think John is trying to get the most of his remaining time on parental leave and Merrie loves being outside. She's finally getting used to sitting on the grass (she didn't like the feeling of grass on her hands) and she's figured out that pine cones don't feel too nice on her tongue. If only I could convince her not to eat rocks...or maybe that's a good sign for a future geologist??
