The girls did really well on the 6 hour flight there - they both slept and made very little noise. The resort was small, quiet and great for families. Merrie loved the pool and sitting in the shoaling waves on the beach and enjoyed choosing her own food at the buffet. Because it was so hot (35+ with the humidity) we didn't venture far from the pool, although we made a couple of trips into Playa del Carmen for a change of scenery.
Charlotte had some trouble sleeping and adjusting to the heat so Mommy and Daddy didn't get as much rest as they were hoping. But it was great having my parents nearby to help - thanks again!

All the men went deep sea fishing the day after the wedding. They almost caught 2 fish (and I've been told one of them was supposedly a shark. I think I'll believe it when I see it...)
